Help the future of our world
Recycling is so important! Not only does it reduce the amount of waste the builds up in landfills and pollutes our precious environment but it also means you have some quirky materials for your crafts. When you are next about to throw something out - stop and think. Could you use it for your crafting? If not, have a check on the back and see what you can do for our planet by following the recycling instruction provided.

The amount of rubbish that the world collects is always increasing, which makes it more important than ever!

How can recycling make such a big difference?

1. Harmful chemicals and greenhouse gases which are found in landfill sites all over the world can be released. If more people recycle their packaging where they can, this can be reduced.
2. Deforestation is a major factor which not only destructs animal's habitats but also increases global warming.
3. Recycling can reduce the amount of raw materials that need to be extracted. This will mean that less energy will need to be used in order to make the product.
It is essential that recycling is done in cities throughout the world, so that natural resources can be preserved for future generations to see.

Food cannot be recycled, but limit the amount you throw away. Every day, 1.6 million untouched bananas are thrown away, 1.3 million unopened yoghurts are thrown away, 1.2 million sausages and 20 million slices of bread also end up in the bin. Please do not be so wasteful, wherever possible recycle your waste, and try not to throw things away unnecessarily.
