"Be The Change You Wish To See In The World"

~ Mahatma Gandhi ~

As a Social Young Enterprise, we aim to inspire and encourage you to forage, reduce, reuse, recycle and upcycle by educating you about the vitality of being sustainable.

Please explore our website to discover how  you can make a difference.

We have a wide range of handmade, upcycled products which will make beautiful gifts; throughout the website there are "Get Creative!" sections with videos to show you how to make some of these products so that you can also get involved and start to make a change!

We only have one planet so it is very important that we live as sustainably as we can in order to reduce our impact on the environment, and save the planet we do have.

Little things matter, so if we can all do our bit and work together we can accomplish fantastic things! - It doesn't matter who you are, all we hope for is that we can inspire you to do something small, or something BIG, to make your mark and create a change.

Small things you can do to make a big difference!

Donate unloved clothes to charity shops

Make a compost bin in your garden

Line bins with plastic carriers and packaging, so that the plastic is  reused one last time before being dumped into landfill. This will also save money on buying bin bags.

Use your recyclables for crafty projects

If you see a little bit of litter pick it up

Use water economically - use tap water instead of bottled water to save plastic packaging

Leave the car at home - it reduces harmful greenhouse gas emissions and does wonders to your health.

Make the switch to energy efficient light bulbs

Make your home eco-friendly: Turn down the thermostat and clean out those air-filters

If you do drive, drive smart! Drive slow to increase your fuel economy and cut down on the amount of petrol you use

Turn off the lights when you leave the room - less fossil fuels will be needed to be burnt to keep us powered

Buy a blanket and put on the kettle! Snuggle up on the sofa with a blanket, or more than one, with a hot drink to warm up; think twice about turning on the heating

Stop Online Shopping ~ there is so much wasted packaging and transportation emissions; walk to the shops instead to get exercise and reduce CO2 emissions.

Have shorter showers to save on water

Eat locally sourced produce, and organic food so that emissions are not produced through the transportation of foreign fruit, for example.

Live by the rule that if you are not using it, turn it off!

Our World is Beautiful, so look after it while it is still here.
